VEZINA

Awarded to the goalie with the most KL points in the month

Winner: Braden Holtby 25 (Los Amjawors Kings)

Runners-up (and back-ups!): Frederik Andersen 23 (Magnus Faajarvis) and Sergei Bobrovsky 22 (Winter Claassics)

I have decided that instead of doling out official Benning honours and Preyde-Kirshenblat dishonours this month, I will simply say this. I am actually quite shocked to see the Faajarvis and the Micahleks put up the months that they did. The former did so on the strength of 5 of their forwads more than doubling Sidney Crosby's output for the month. That will never happen again. The Micahleks meanwhile got 38 points from their back end, which will also never happen again. Conversely, the leader going into the month, yours truly, put up a bit of a stinker and was outpaced by two teams currently outside the playoffs in the Claassics and Canicks. That won't happen again... this season. It was a weird month, and if anyone has the time, I'd love to see what squad was most affected by the mumps.
