39 points for my Flyers this week, moving from 12th place to 6th. Also, you gotta admit that the "Fyladelphia Fylers" would have been a good name for Fy's team too.
With 22 points separating 1st and 12th, its still impossible to say anyone is truly "winning". I can't believe how close this thing still is - a big week and a shutout or two from a few teams could throw the whole ranking upside down just like that.
I'm just pissed off that me and 13 other teams passed on picking up Ladd, who has 17 points since Dave nabbed him. What a waste to have those precious, precious points going to a team languishing in 14th place!
The Commission has been taking up an inordinate amount of my time lately. It’s like they don’t respect that I am Commissioner of something equally important.
Also I don’t like it when Fy, whose name lends itself to an enviable number of puns and nicknames and portmanteaus, is winning.
Luckily I can count on others to step up with insightful analysis. I have a good post planned for after the 10th week.
